Atlanta Freedom Bands presents a curated collection of classics for wind band. AFB’s Music Directors and musicians have selected a program representing some of the best pieces of band repertoire from yesterday’s and today’s composers.

The program features band classics by Percy Grainger and Gustav Holst paired with music from John Mackey and Katahj Copely. Of course, we have a soundtrack from John Williams on menu along with several other pieces you will be sure to enjoy.  The concert also features a new work from our Student Composer Residency Program. We will welcome Tyson Washington, a student at the University of West Georgia, for a performance of his new work “The Dance and the Feast”.

What would a concert of the best music be without our best friends?  We have invited our friends from all the organizations in the Atlanta Queer Arts Alliance (AQuAA) to host the show.
