Marching Band

Organized in 1993 to provide a marching band for Atlanta’s Pride parade and a musical representation for the city’s LGBTQ+ community, the Atlanta Feedom Marching Band has been entertaining spectators for nearly 30 years. The marching band has performed in numerous Atlanta events, including the Dogwood Festival, Inman Park Festival, Atlanta Pride, East Atlanta Strut, the Little Five Points Halloween Parade, and the Atlanta AIDS Walk. The band has also performed at pride events throughout Georgia and the Southeast and was the first LGBT-identified group to perform during an Olympic Games event. The Marching Band made history again in 2016 as the first-ever LGBT-identified group to march in Atlanta’s Saint Patrick’s Day parade.

Like all of our ensembles, the marching band welcomes new members of all skill levels. No audition is required to join.
