SUMMARY:Let It Snow!?
DESCRIPTION:Atlanta’s biggest weather fears may be snow and ice\, but tha
 t won’t stop Atlanta Freedom Bands from presenting a wintry mix of music
  to celebrate the holiday season.  AFB tempts Mother Nature with a progra
 m recalling the joys of snow days\, the special music of the holidays\, an
 d all the things we love about winter.  Bundle up with us for music from 
 Frozen all the way to "Sleigh Ride"!\n\nThe concert will also feature the 
 premiere of a new work from our Student Composer Residency Program.  We a
 re proud to welcome Abdo Timejardine-Zomeño\, a student in Clarinet and M
 echanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago to the podiu
 m to conduct the band in the premiere.  His "A Child’s Desperate Call" 
 honors the memory of those lost at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde\, Texa
 s\, in May 2022.  The work will kick off the eighth year of the program.\
 n\nTickets are $20 for general admission and $15 for seniors\, and $10 for
  students.\n\nThe concert will also stream live from AFB’s YouTube chann

 t path from the parking deck behind the church to the rear door into the c
 oncert area and to the restrooms. The standard complement of symphonic per
 cussion will be in use. The concert will include visual projections but wi
